What will I see?

Each trip is different and wildlife is unpredictable. We take you to places that are interesting with beautiful scenery where we get you close to nature. You may see American Bald Eagles, Osprey, Great Blue Heron, Ducks, Geese, Swans, Turtles, Fish, Deer and more!

What should we bring and wear?

Bring a drink(bottled water), sun protection(sunscreen, hat), Change of cloths & towel to leave in car, and snacks in zip-lock bag. Cameras are fine but they may get wet or dropped overboard. Wear appropriate clothing for the weather, swimsuit and t shirt for warm weather, fleece or windbreaker for cool days. Avoid heavy cotton as it absorbs water and will stay wet. Water shoes or sandals are great but sneakers are fine. Remember, anything you bring may get wet.

I can't swim, can I come?

Yes! You will wear a coast guard approved PFD

Will my kayak tip over?

It can, but it is rare. If it does, your kayak will be emptied quickly, and you will find yourself back paddling in only a few minutes.

Do you rent kayaks?

No, we provide guided trips which are lot's of fun, and you don't have to worry about where to go or how to get back. We take the stress out of the trip and are always available to help as much as you like.

I have never kayaked, do I need experience?

No experience needed for most trips, we provide basic instruction.

Is there an age or weight limit?

300 lbs is about max. If your very heavy or tall, of have Physical limitations, please call for more info. Children should be 14 or older for public trips, as they will be expected to keep up with adult customers. This does not apply to scout, youth and private trips. Family trips with kids as young as 5 are welcome, again, please call for more info. An adult must accompany any minor.

Do you take photos of our trip?

Yes and they are free! We will email them to you.

Do you offer discounts?

Yes, for large groups. Special discounts for scouts and youth groups.

Do you take credit cards?

Yes, Cash or check or charge

How do I book a date?

Call 443-731-1100 or email to request a preferred date. You can view my calendar. If you have a date in mind and its clear, you can book it with a group. If you see a trip already booked on a day you like, call or email, you may be able to join that trip, or on weekends several trips can happen on the same date.

Will we need to sign a waiver?

Yes everyone must sign a waiver, a parent or legal guardian must sign for minors. They can be signed on location or requested by email.

Where do we meet?

We will meet on location. Directions will be provided.

What about cancellations?

We ask that you cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours prior to your trip date. We reserve the right to cancel any trip at any time for weather or unforeseen circumstance. High wind, thunder storms or heavy rain will force us to cancel. Light rain is acceptable.

What is included on the tour?

Kayak, Paddle, PFD and basic instruction. And a qualified guide of course.

Do you have gift certificates?

Yes! Call or email for more info.

How long is the tour?

Most tours are three hours in duration. Longer private tours are available.

How about special occasions?

We provide trips for birthdays, anniversary's, work groups, sports groups, moonlight tours.
